Background Checks
All volunteers undergo a background check to ensure the safety of our community and especially our children. Any volunteer on the fields, courts, classrooms must have an approved background check through Baltimore County. This background check expires yearly and is Rec Council Dependent. Please use the links below to start the background check process.

- For Prettyboy Rec Programs, select "P-S Communities" then the appropriate Prettyboy group.
How You Can Help
Volunteers are the only way the recreation council and programs can operate. Volunteers are needed throughout the year to make these programs work. Consider volunteering as a coach, a chairperson, an officer of the recreation council, a worker in the concession stand, for an hour or a season. The reward is valuable and satisfying; build your community, meet neighbors, gain friendships, put smiles on children's faces, make a difference.
The Prettyboy Recreation Council Board meets on the Second Tuesday of every month at Prettyboy Elementary School HomeBase Room. The meetings will be held year round except in July. All are invited to attend the general meetings that begin at 7:30PM.
